Every year, a group of arts leaders from central Florida make a trip to Tallahassee to meet with lawmakers. The annual Chain of Parks Art Festival is a two-day outdoor exhibition held in the group's city parks, known as aChain of Parksa, in downtown Tallahassee, Florida. The museum, located in downtown Tallahassee at Kleman Plaza, was created as a result of the struggle to build a new building for the struggling Tallulah Museum. In 2003, the museum was completed and the building was built on land owned by the city of Tallah and on part of a former parking lot on the site.
Carroll, 72, still works as a pastor at St. John the Baptist Church in downtown Tallahassee, a church with more than 1,000 members.
He is also a member of the Tallahassee Art Commission, the state's largest arts organization, and works to increase state arts funding. He needs $1 million more in state funding for arts projects over the next two years and is working to increase state arts funding to $5 million, up from $3 million this year.

Tallahassee has acted like a town of murals and public arts that you can visit. This is just the mural we visited, but it is just part of a much larger mural collection in Florida.

The festival kicks off Thursday with the opening of the Tallahassee Art Festival, an annual celebration of local and regional artists and their artworks. Bring the whole family to see the works of artists from all over the state of Florida and around the world. The Art Box initiative allows artists to exhibit art without having to stick to their artwork, which is printed on vinyl and wrapped around traffic control boxes. The artist's designs will be transferred to the Tallahassee City Traffic Control Center, and one design will be transferred to a Leon County utility box. The digital translation of the images into vinyl allows three-dimensional outdoor murals that are fun for everyone. Sims, the correct way to hang the Confederate flag, drew criticism from the local chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in 2007.
I'm a big fan of public art because I think it shows the heart of the city we visit and local talent. I want the viewer to experience the emotions and energy I used for this piece while looking at the picture.
The Chain of Parks Art Festival has been recognized by Visit Tallahassee as a legacy event that attracts over 40,000 visitors and patrons. The festival was also included in the top 100 art festivals by Sunshine Artist Magazine and reached number 1 in 2017. With a variety of art media, Artopia has become a must-see - with around 1,500 participants annually. It is an ideal destination for outdoor festivals and adventures and it is one of the largest art festivals in Florida with more than 1.5 million square feet of space.
