A Fabulous way to dine! I was first introduced to fondue by a friend several years ago. I am one of those "meat and potatoes" kinda people. So, as you can imagine I was very skeptical. Boy was I wrong!
The environment is very low key. When you first walk in you will notice it is low lit and slightly cooler than most places as you will soon find out why. The tables are comfortable yet the one complaint I guess I would have is the design of the table. As I hope you know, fondue you cook at your own table. The burners are centered at the table for ease of all patrons at each table. I think the tables could be redesigned a bit better. How you say, I am not an engineer so I don't know.
You get started with a very well set up menu with a wide variety. I always go the full course , but you can go just for dessert or what ever.
I start with a fantastic house salad with their house honey mustard dressing (you should really try this!). Then on to the cheese. We like to try several different cheeses and I really can't say which is the best. I love them all. The cheese fondue comes with french and rye bread. Also with red and green apples sliced and some veggies for dipping. All fresh and tasty.
Then you are using either bullion or oil to cook with your main dish can be a variety of raw prepared foods. Meats and veggies all cut and set nicely. They have everything from sirlion to mahi mahi. A variety of dipping batter and sauces. All done in a very pleasant setting.
Then on to dessert. WOW! They have so many. The chocolates are magical. My wife and I love the Flaming cookies and Cream. This come with bananas, strawberries, marshmallows, pineapple, brownies and a slice of the most wonderful cheesecake.
The whole thing may take up to 2 hours for a party of 2 to actually sit and eat so don't be in a rush. It is also kinda pricey. The set up my wife an I get with no drinks usually runs around $115 with tip for the dinner for 2 set. So, as most of you think we don't go a whole lot. 1-2 times a year max. But, I can't wait in between.
All in all a fabulous way to dine
