The 2010 International Competition opens the Fall semester with a bang. Artists from the continental US-and much further afield-present an unexpected take on pop culture, art and global issues in an eclectic assembly of media. There is nothing like this show in the rest of the MoFA calendar: juried by CarrieAnn Baade, Meg Mitchell and Owen Mundy (CVAT&D faculty), the only consistent feature of the selection is the overall quality.
Artists chosen demonstrate that humor is an indispensable coping mechanism for surviving contemporary life and humor and witty commentary share the museum space with works of bold statement as well as introspective thought. The museum staff and the jurors welcome you to the latest installation of Combined Talents.
The exhibition runs August 23rd through September 26th.

Admission is ALWAYS free!
Museum Hours M-F 9-4 Weekend hours resume August 28-29 (1-4 PM)
The Museum will be closed Monday, September 6th in observation of Labor Day.
